Distilled at Benrinnes in refill sherry casks, Soldier has a limited release of 2400 bottles and is is 1 of 10 Characterful Whiskies in The Household series.

This series of Shakespearean Scotch whiskies is the product of a collaboration between design studio Livingstone, whisky writer Dave Broom, Elixir Distillers and the legendary illustrator Sir Quentin Blake. 

“Ever visible, as you travel around Speyside, is Ben Rinnes. At its base, on the north side of the mountain, is the workhorse distillery of the same name. The spirit produced there, using traditional worm tub condensers, is sturdy and full. For the Soldier this powerful spirit has been matured in refill sherry butts, accentuating the meaty, weighty character of the make and adding layers of currants and dried oregano".
