Kilkerran Single Malt Whisky is produced in the Glengyle Distillery, re-opened in 2004 after originally operating from 1872-1925, Mitchell’s Glengyle is under the ownership of Mr Hedley Wright, chairman of Springbank Distillery and descendant of Glengyle’s founder William Mitchell.
Kilkerran Single Malt is a lightly peated, double distilled whisky, non-chill-filtered and has no added colouring.
A share of this refill sherry hogshead was specially selected and bottled for Alba Whisky, Australia, to celebrate the 20th Anniversary of the opening of Glengyle Distillery in 2004.
