From the Hakushu distillery in the foothills of Mount Kaikomagatake comes their Distiller's Reserve single malt whisky.

A no-age-statement expression which captures the smoky, herbaceous characteristics of their whiskies.

Both lightly-peated and heavily-peated malts were used for this complex and deeply enjoyable whisky.

Tasting Notes

Nose: Fresh with ripe citrus and stone fruits. Light minerality and soft pine smoke

Palate: Soot covered lemons with a salty tang. After time, tropical fruits and wood spice come through.

Finish: Medium length, fresh and sharp with a salty tang.
