A tremendous rum from the Travellers Distillery in Belize, bottled up from a single cask for Hunter Laing's indie Kill Devil series. This expression was distilled in a column still in 2007 and filled into a cask where it remained for the next 14 years. A total of 188 bottles was produced, at a mighty cask strength of 67.3% ABV.

 

Tasting Notes:

Roasted, earthy coffee, treacly dark sugar with toasted nuts, and a smidge of zesty wax. Bold oak welcomes sweet red fruits with subtle notes of herbaceous tobacco.
